It appears to be a Batmobile at first glance. However, it has a lot of power and performance within of its convenient frame.
We’re referring to the electric fan car Spéirling from the British manufacturer McMurtry Automotive, which aims to break the hillclimb record and will be on display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed the following week.
The vehicle wants to completely shatter the previous record held by the Volkswagen ID-R, which torched the 1.16-mile circuit in a time that is hard to believe—39.9 seconds—in 2019.
McMurtry Spéirling, which made its debut at the same event last year, has gained a lot of muscle since then and appears to be ready for the event, which will take place from June 23 to 26.
