For the first time in three years, Amazon has refreshed its Fire 7 tablet by announcing a new model.
That makes it one of the most economical tablets available, and far less expensive than the comparably compact iPad mini (2021).
However, it is a $10 / £10 price increase over the previous model, which isn’t too awful considering the three-year gap between them.
Its 2GHz quad-core processor is also said to be 30% quicker, so performance should be much improved.
