Your battery life might not make sense for a reason.

Apple has good news for your battery life whether you own an Apple Watch Series 4 or Apple Watch Series 5.

The business has stated that it is enhancing the calculation of the maximum battery capacity for the Apple Watch Series 4 and Series 5 in the release notes for the second developer beta of watchOS 9. The publication states that updating to watchOS 9 will automatically revise its estimate of battery capacity.

Your Apple Watch Series 4 or Series 5 will recalibrate after installing watchOS 9 in order to more correctly estimate its maximum battery capacity.

This is fantastic news for any Series 4 or Series 5 Apple Watch owner who has believed that their battery capacity estimate is inaccurate based on their battery life experience. Apple must be confident in its estimates for the Apple Watch Series 6 and Series 7, its most recent versions, as the update appears to concentrate on those two models in particular.

The public beta of watchOS 9 is anticipated for July and is currently only accessible to developers. In the fall, the updated software will be accessible to all Apple Watch owners (or, at the very least, anyone with an Apple Watch Series 4 or later).
