Oppo’s Reno8 series is set to launch next Monday, May 23, and the leaks are already pouring in. Oppo China’s web store lists three models in the Reno8 series: Reno8, Reno8 Pro, and Reno8 Pro+. All three phones now have full official pictures that reveal their colour options and styles.
A Chinese tech blogger also shared a hands-on video of the Reno8 Pro+, which demonstrates the phone’s design.
The Reno8 Pro+’s rear design is reminiscent of the Find X5 series, with a huge camera island that blends into the back frame. The phone has smooth aluminium sides and is believed to be 7.34mm thick (not including the camera bump), making it the thinnest Oppo Reno phone to yet. The front features a punch-hole cutout in the middle and symmetrical top and bottom bezels.
According to the official photos, the three phones have similar designs, but the Reno8 Pro and 8Pro+ have four rear cameras in addition to Oppo’s MariSilicon X NPU and smaller screen bezels than the Reno8. The Pro+ has a centred punch-hole cutout, but the other two models’ selfie cameras are buried in the left corner.
Reno8 and Reno8 Pro are available in black, blue, and gradient hues, with a silver finish on the Pro+. All three phones include 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. According to rumours, the Reno8 will include the Dimensity 1300 processor, while the Reno8 Pro will feature Qualcomm’s forthcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. The Reno8 Pro+ is believed to have a Dimensity 8100 Max processor.
